Explore new opportunities at NMSDC Conference
All eyes will be on MICHIGAN, the host city for the Nation’s largest forum gathering in support of Supplier Diversity, Oct 22-25, 2017. Our team from Six Consulting will be there to connect with old friends and new at Booth 351.
This year the 2017 National Minority Supplier Development Council Conference and Business Opportunity Exchange will be held at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan, Oct. 22-25.
The event is a must for every organization involved in exploring the best talent related to minority supplier development. More than 6,000 corporate CEOs, procurement managers and supplier diversity executives from the nation’s top multinational companies come together to connect, develop and advocate an engaged participation by minority-owned firms in the global corporate supply chains. Leading Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business owners as well as international organizations use this forum to forge new ties and expand their business.
This year’s theme is “Minority Supplier Development: Fuelling Economic Growth.” Participants can take advantage of learning sessions and interactive workshops. The sessions will help improve their knowledge in the latest commercial trends and techniques to be geared for economic developments in the near future. With more than 700 exhibit booths along with workshops and other plenary sessions, we are thrilled to be a part of this event.
Six Consulting, Inc. has taken up a booth at the venue and we look forward to connecting with new and old friends at this grand gathering. As quoted by Joe Hinrichs, NMSDC Chair and President, in the official press release for the event, “The 2017 Conference and Business Opportunity Exchange will focus on propelling economic growth for corporate executives and minority business owners to take advantage of opportunities for commerce presented in the future. As the U.S. nears the point where minorities comprise greater than 50 percent of the population, the need for strong minority-owned businesses in national and global supply chains will be vital to the health of our growing economy.”
